Every month we do a little outreach, last month was the Valentines Day funness with the homeless and this month we decided to have church in the park with whomever random people we might me there. I for one was get-go about this idea, the whole thing made me excited as people were putting their ideas together at how it could look. Worship, a message, coffee and pastries, testimonies, sinners prayer, ect. Some people were really excited like I, and others had great reservations about the whole thing.

We finally came to the agreement that we all needed to be in a lot of prayer about it and that we would have worship and testimonies and we would invite all the surrounding people. Every Friday we have a prayer journey, which always turns out different looking. This past Friday we decided we would go to the park in which we were going to be having church at and pray over the land, that the presence of God would be in the place the following day and for the hearts of the people that would be joining us for church.

Turns out, that our prayer journey turned into church in itself, love it! God has been teaching me more and more about what the "church" is. We ministered to each other, prayed over one another and encouraged one other.

(This is not really the gazebo we were in) :)

This past week it's been gloomy and sort of raining. Saturday rolls around and it's pouring down rain! We decided to go through with church; we drive to the park and enter into the parking lot...no other cars in sight. It's just us. We all get under the gazebo and just start sharing where our hearts are and how God is working in our lives. We had some worship and prayed over each other. It was really nice. I enjoyed our church a lot. The Holy Spirit was evident in our midst.
