They invited us back to their church this Friday for their youth night. So this week we have been practicing more songs. And I have learned three songs over the past three days. My head is spinning now! Who knows if I will remember them. Practices are very long and slow because there is not much action going on. Also it is a bit difficult for me to get what’s going on because they speak in Tagalog during practice most of the time.
Maybe after Friday I will have some pictures of us dancing, or maybe I could have a video of one of the dances too! J
Things have relaxed a bit here not as busy running around town, but I have come to learn there is nothing as “normal”. Things are always different as in times we do things and go places. In my opinion, I am quite a flexible person but I have been learning to be even more flexible.
I read your blogs – keep them coming.
I’m sure your dreds captivated them!! 🙂 So are you singing in Tagalog or just dancing?
Sounds like great fun!!!
How does it feel to be the “minority”?
What? You’re white?!?!
Lol, I feel like I’m the minority when i got into Waukegan too though. Hehe.
We just dance. Most of the church services the songs are in english.
And actually, I’m more tan then some of the poepl here, but I just have a golden shade instead of olive. 🙂
