YWAM Dagupan has a program called the Gideon Sponsorship, which is a sponsorship for less fortunate students desiring to study in school, which could be a ticket for them to get out of the slums. The intention of this program is to show God’s love to the kid to meet practical needs and hopefully it will spread to the entire family.
Today we had all the sponsor kids over to the base so they could receive all the goods we bought with some of the money the Singaporean team gave our base for ministry. They all received a new uniform, PE uniform, book bag, notebooks, pens and pencils, erasers, glue, crayons, scissors, colorful art paper and plain white paper, a water jug, shoes, socks, and awesome looking cap for the boys and an umbrella for the girls.
