I’m Maggie! I grew up just north of Chicago. I was home schooled up till 8th grade. I spent most of my life in my backyard and in the trees, beating up boys bigger than me (of course just playing round). I used to make little animals my pets and collect caterpillars.
Now that I graduated high school and am so much more mature cause I don’t collect caterpillers, I spend my free time painting, going to the beach, hanging with friends and meeting new people, I do just random stuff for fun, Blitz is my favorite card game! I don’t watch TV or listen to Ipods much, I hardly shave my legs but, I love to bike! I enjoy sitting on my porch and soaking up the sun God gave us!

I worked at a local grocery store called Piggly Wiggly, which I loved because it is a way that I can serve my community and show the love of Christ. Even just through a SIPMLE SMILE!

One of my favorite passages in the Bible is in Acts about the early church and how they were a community sharing everything and because of the way they live their lives more and more people came to see who Jesus Christ is. It boggles my mind every time I read it!
A life verse for me lately has been Romans 12, the whole thing! I want to be a living sacrifice to God, someone who is holy and pleasing to Him.

Currently I am living involved in a community at Adventures In Mission called Community Life. Which basicly means being intentional with relationship within the group of people I live with. I have 11 housemates which is a blast!

I intern at AIM in the Admissions dept. doing paperwork and phone calls, I enjoy talking on the phone and helping people with needs!

  6. Well, while we were cramming six us us into a tent for a cozy nights sleep, one of our youth leaders backed up his truck and the rear tire came through the wall of the tent. I was sleeping on the outside and it ripped my hair out and totally hurt my head. I normally have long hair, but I had just gotten a buzz cut for the trip, so that tire came wayyy too close! I was in shock for the rest of the night, but it was pretty awesome.
