About once a month we go down to Atlanta and hang out with some street people. Normally we would just bring them a brown bag with an apple, granola bar, socks, and a water, along with an encouraging note with scripture on it.

For this months outreach we dicided to make valentine's day cards expressing God's love and hand those out. We also decided to make sandwiches and cookies, and let me tell ya, people LOVE chocolate!

There is this one paticular park we visit everytime, Saturaday mornings a group of people play chess in the park. Not all the people at the park are homeless but many are. I wanna tell ya about this guy we met named Jimmy Jackson. He is homeless, but to hear his story and the faith he has in God blows my mind, he has nothing yet can still praise God. He sang us a song (well a few of them) but i'll share one of them with you! I believe that the Holy Spirit is living and active in his life!

I'll write more about my valentine's day experience, but for now check this out!
